Far from civilization, at an altitude of 1,500 meters above sea level, on the Mala Dukonya meadow, the Holy Trinity Dukon Monastery was built.
Built in 2002. And until then there was an old wooden house. Archpriest Michael bought it, rented 2 hectares of land adjacent to the house and donated everything to the monastery. After the consecration, the old building was dismantled and in four years the Holy Trinity Church, four cells, a refectory, a kitchen and a pantry were built.
Dukinskyi Monastery is one of the Russian Patriarchate. The initiator of the construction of the monastery was Father Immanuel. Here he died and was buried. This is a functioning monastery, only one monk lives in it. There is a huge bell near the monastery.
